Mr. Hinman’s fee will be determined after a thorough
review and evaluation of your case. Usually it is necessary to
gather the available information about the case and conduct an
in-office interview before arriving at the fee. Do not expect a
fee quote over the phone.
The fee will depend on a number of factors, e.g.: Can
the case be contested? Is it advisable to contest it? What will
be the objectives of representation?
If the case will be contested, the fee will probably be
substantial. “Contested” includes seeking any non-DUI
disposition. If the case involves simple plea negotiation, with
no significant issues, the fee will probably be modest.
In most cases, the fee will be a “flat fee,” payable in
advance. Generally Mr. Hinman does not finance fee payments. He
does, however, accept all major credit cards. In most cases
personal checks are acceptable.
If you hire Mr. Hinman to represent you, the $250.00
consultation fee will be credited toward the representation fee.
